What We Believe
We believe that the Bible is God's inspired and authoritative Word, and that the faithful preaching of Scripture is central to the life of the church.
The heart of our message is the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that forgiveness of sins and eternal life are found through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

Getting Here
Our church building is on Glossop Road in Charlesworth, around seven minutes by car from Glossop town centre and easily reached from Gamesley, Hadfield and the surrounding villages.
There is a car park behind the church building. The driveway from Glossop Road leads directly to the car park, and clear signs identify the chapel from the roadside.

Do I need to be a Bapist to visit?
No. Everyone is welcome to attend our services and learn more about the Christian faith.
I've never been to church before. Can I come?
Absolutely. There is no expectation that you already know the Bible or are familiar with church services. Our members will be happy to help you feel at ease and answer any questions you may have.
Will I be expected to speak or take part?
No. Visitors are welcome simply to come, listen and observe.
Do I need to let you know I'm coming?
No. You are very welcome simply to come along. However, if you do have any questions beforehand, we’d be pleased to hear from you.
What happens during a Sunday service?
Our services include singing, prayer, Bible readings and the preaching of God’s Word. The sermon is the central part of the service, as we seek to explain the Scriptures faithfully and point people to the Lord Jesus Christ. After the service there is an opportunity to stay for refreshments and fellowship.
How long does a service usually last?
Our services normally last around an hour and a quarter. Afterwards, many people stay to enjoy tea, coffee and conversation together.
Are children welcome?
Yes. Children are very welcome at our services, and we ordinarily offer an optional children’s Bible class at 1pm.
Is there parking?
Yes. Parking is available behind the church building.

We are in Charlesworth, around seven minutes’ drive from Glossop town centre.
